Amora and Brad wedding film

Their celebration

A desert celebration.

Amora and Brad celebrated on her grandparents’ property in Arizona, with open valley views and rugged desert ridgelines stretching beyond the lawn. Against that expansive setting, their Italian-inspired wedding felt dramatic and elegant, with white drapery, sculptural arrangements, and rich floral color.

Their wish for the film was clear: they wanted to feel the fun. They were looking forward to a day full of energy and excitement, surrounded by people who had been part of their lives for years. That spirit gave us a direction for what to look for and what to hold onto.

An easy beginning.

The morning had an easy rhythm. Amora and her friends spent time together in T-shirts and pajamas, snacking, laughing, and helping her get ready. She wanted those getting-ready moments to feel playful, so jumping on the bed and being a little silly became part of the story.

That relaxed start carried into the ceremony. With time to enjoy the morning, Amora and Brad could arrive ready to focus on each other and the promises they were about to make.

A first look, together.

For her first look with her family, Amora invited both her dad and her stepdad. They turned around to see her together and shared that moment with her before the ceremony.

Later in the evening, both danced with her as well. Those moments made room for the relationships she wanted to honor, each with its own place in the celebration.

Drama in the details.

The styling brought a sense of occasion to the open-air setting. White fabric crossed and gathered behind the ceremony, with flowers arranged in elevated vessels and gold candlesticks among the drapery. Pears finished with pearls, grapes, and fans added character to the smaller details.

Shade from the tented areas gave guests a place to gather out of the sun, while the views remained part of the day. The result felt elegant and expressive, with the Arizona landscape always close by.

All the energy.

A large vintage car gave us a setting for bridal portraits with a different kind of drama. It also became part of their departure, with a chauffeur driving them away at the end of the celebration.

Before that send-off, the dance floor was full of life. Colorful disco lights, party props, and guests who kept dancing brought the excitement Amora and Brad had hoped for. From the playful morning to the party that night, there was plenty of energy for the film to carry forward.

Years in the making.

Amora and Brad were high school sweethearts. Their families had watched their relationship grow through school dances, shared memories, and years spent together, so this wedding held a sense of anticipation that reached far beyond the day itself.

That history gave the celebration its warmth. Behind the dramatic setting and the full dance floor were two people making promises in front of loved ones who already knew so much of their story. We wanted the film to hold both: the excitement of the wedding and the meaning of finally arriving at this moment together.
